The Silver Comet Connector has been under construction for quite a while. Most of what's built is pretty good and nice roads exist for sections where it isn't. Its only 8.8 miles from the Comet to the Beltline. The route I use is at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/56117431.

Bike specific appearance products are a waste IMO. There's no reason why quality automotive products can't be used. If its good enough for a Ferrari then its good enough for an Argon 18.

RIP Edge 830

A Garmin Edge 830 had purchased 2-Jan-2020 just prior to delivery of the Argon 18. It had logged at least 30,000 miles on a variety of bikes. NGL it had been giving me trouble for a while.

First Time Waxing a Chain

Like tubeless tires, I'm hoping that chain wax is worth the effort. What a rigmarole! In 48 years of wrenching and riding, this is the first time I've done it. Old dog. New tricks.
